Cinque Terre Private Wine Tour. The wine making in this area started 1000 years ago with the production of a sweet wine called Sciacchetrà, to which, later, was paired the table wine production.
The Cinque Terre private wine tour starts directly in the hearth of the National Park. The area between Riomaggiore and Manarola is the one mostly oriented in the wine making. We’ll be meeting a local wine grower during the visit of his vineyard, located in a breathtaking location overlooking the sea, we will learn more about the ancient and modern methods for growing grapes and making wins in the area, then followed by a three table wines tasting with snacks and one Sciacchetrà tasting, the famous sweet wine of the Cinque Terre.
Afterwards, we move to Corniglia by driving along the panoramic road. This is the smallest village of the 5 Terre where always find a cozy atmosphere. Here have time for a light lunch.
In the afternoon, head to Vernazza, by many considered the gem of the Cinque Terre. Enjoy some time on your own for visiting the village and maybe have a homemade gelato.

Cinque Terre Olive Oil Tour. The extra virgin olive oil is one of the icons of the Italian cuisine, it is produced everywhere in Italy below the Liguria region. North from here it’s too cold for growing olive trees (except Lake Garda). Italians could not cook without the olive oil: it is the perfect dressing for the pasta, a vegetable salad or a beef steak. It is the basic ingredients for most of the sauces (pesto sauce, tomato sauce, etc) and a tasty dressing for a bruschetta.
This tour aims to pair the discovery of the Cinque Terre and learning more about the making of extra virgin olive oil, how to recognize it by comparing it with other olive oils. Afterwards enjoy some snacks paired with local wines.
The tour starts soon with the visit of an olive grove where, led by the owner, learn more about the olive oil cultivation in the Cinque Terre. After the walk, let’s start with the Extra Virgin olive oil comparison and tasting set up in a tiny farm up on the hills facing the sea.
At the end, we drive towards Corniglia along the panoramic road. It’s the smallest village of the Cinque Terre always really enjoyable. Free time for lunch.
