Itinerary of Cinque Terre hiking tour

Take the train from La Spezia to Corniglia, the smallest village of the Cinque Terre, warm up your legs by going upstairs or uphill from the train station to the village and, after a stroll along the main street, hit the trail and walk in a breathtaking landscape for approx. 1,5 hrs as far as Vernazza.

Visit the village, stroll the charming alleys of Vernazza, have a break if you want with tasty focaccia. Then proceed along the path to Monterosso. This hike takes approx 2 hrs and will make you arrive just in time for a tasty Ligurian meal in one of the eateries of Monterosso. During the warm season remember that you also have the opportunity to swim in one of the cleanest seas of Italy.

In the afternoon take the ferry to Riomaggiore, and enjoy the view of the Cinque Terre comfortably seated. Once arrived visit the village and maybe taste a good gelato.

Afterward, return to La Spezia by train.
